if you were a vespa, what color would you be...in a hexadecimal code?
Ff9600 pumpkin goodness!!
on a road trip, are most of your clothes in suitcase, a moving box, or a laundry basket?
Suitcase! I've been traveling tons since I was a kid and I have the suitcase packing down pat!
describe your nearest "getaway spot."
A little spot in Sacramento by the river that is perfect to swim the dogs. Happy wet dogs and happy humans!
swim suit or skinny dip?
Depends on when and where
one place in the world where you haven't been, but you MUST go.
Mongolia! My grandfather was a Mongolian nomad and I have always wanted to see how they live.
the longest road trip you've taken ... solo or with a road trip buddy?
3 months with my husband. Twice! And we survived it! We drove from San Francisco to Washington, then Oregon then Midwest, Nashville, Kansas City, Texas, New Orleans on Mardi Gras, Florida, then D.C., New York, Chicago, Wyoming, Utah then all the way back home!
when visiting a new city, what intangible items are you hoping to capture?
The architecture and street life, the vibe, the pulse, the original feel and identity of a city. You can feel and hear a city breathe. I take very bad “tourist photos”
what is your favorite junk food when traveling?
Sonic's grilled cheese sandwiches, yummm. Not a lot of fast food places have choices for vegetarians. Or maybe it's the eggs at waffle house. I think those are just foam fake eggs, they can't be real.
describe your favorite local hang-out.
Capital dawgs! Dude, best vegan hot dogs ever! And sweet potato fries!
what inspires you to take the next step by photographing, writing, or composing a song about the area you're in.
not to be cliche, but life. Creating, to me, is like oxygen, without it I could die. And when I see life around me, I find it most inspiring. I see images on my head and flashes of scenes and stills and I need to get it out. It's the only way I know how to be.
