VAGABOND: images

if you were a vespa, what color would you be...in a hexadecimal code?
first thought was instantly some shade of dark brown....let's say this one: #2f2008

on a road trip, are most of your clothes in suitcase, a moving box, or a laundry basket?
suitcase....all road trips I've ever really been on have been with my family and require so much stuff for the kids.
describe your nearest "getaway spot."
lately, this has been almost anywhere. just getting out of the house away from the daily livings of a stay at home mom can feel like a getaway even if only for a few hours. :)
swim suit or skinny dip?
always has been a swim suit....but this bio is making me think I need to live a little more....skinny dipping may be in the future ;)
one place in the world where you haven't been, but you MUST go.
i've travelled very little. even growing up as a kid travel and vacation was always to visit relatives, never just to travel. finally left canada for the first time for my honeymoon but still have travelled very little. so, something like bobby earle's raddest photo trip ever is quite appealing!
the longest road trip you've taken ... solo or with a road trip buddy?
I think the longest road trip I've ever been on has been from Yellowknife NWT to Winnipeg MB (2800 km (1740 miles) one way). Taken with my husband, a 5 month old and a 3 yr old. (crazy, i know!). now, when really thinking, that really isn't a road trip, not in the sense I'm thinking. That was just a means to get from point a to point b. I'm itching to take a trip somewhere, anywhere really, don't even need a destination. Ideally I'd love to do this with a friend or 2..or more. Just drive....drive to take in whatever it is we come across and to just enjoy the company of one another and the experience....and of course we'll stop and create some art along the way!!!
when visiting a new city, what intangible items are you hoping to capture?
well, as said above, not enough visiting has happened in my past. the way I typically seem to work best though is to just go with the flow. the best images always seem to come from the unexpected.
what is your favorite junk food when traveling?
trying not to eat junk food much lately...if I were to go into the store right now and grab something though, it would be some Miss Vickies sea salt & malt vinegar chips...some chocolate and a diet pepsi!
describe your favorite local hang-out.
i wish i had some cool i'm kind of a starbucks addict...to the drink but also to the experience. nothing quite like sitting in there all morning while the kids are at school talking...and anything and everything with a good friend.
what inspires you to take the next step by photographing, writing, or composing a song about the area you're in.
just always wanting create something new....something different.
