if you were a vespa, what color would you be...in a hexadecimal code?
#868686 Grey. I can’t get enough of cloudy and rainy days.

on a road trip, are most of your clothes in suitcase, a moving box, or a laundry basket?
All of the above to be honest. I tend to lose articles of clothing somewhere between the beginning and the end of road trips.
describe your nearest "getaway spot."
Whatever body of water I can access quickly with my kayak in the Oklahoma City area. I love how small and powerless large bodies of water will make you feel. I love the unpredictability, detachment and the unknown. I love it because I feel like I’m truly off of humanity’s radar when on the water. You can’t beat it.
swim suit or skinny dip?
yes.
one place in the world where you haven't been, but you MUST go.
I’ve always wanted to road trip through both Canada and Ireland.
the longest road trip you've taken ... solo or with a road trip buddy?
42 Hours. Portland, Oregon to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. There were four of us in the car and it was awesome. That’s one of the trips that is responsible for creating this need to drive for no other purpose than to be on the road.
what is your favorite junk food when traveling?
Corn Nuts. I hate the taste but soak up the reaction I get from others when opening the bag. But seriously, I’m all about the beef jerky.
tell a story about a memorable, intriguing person you met while exploring who you never saw again.
I was in LA last January and ran into the guy in this photo at Union Station. He represents everything that is awesome about traveling, existing in this life without a schedule and being awesome. I talked with him briefly and all he could do is tell me how amazing the cup of coffee was that he was drinking. There’s nothing not awesome about that.

describe how you feel when you're alone with your camera and in a new location ...
I forget about the rest of life and lose all sense of responsibility. It’s the ultimate playground and it’s awesome.
what inspires you to take the next step by photographing, writing, or composing a song about the area you're in.
People and relationships inspire me, hands down.
