i abandoned writing for photography. i could never hope to describe the island of crete through words. i took this trip because i needed to hit the refresh button on life. i spent a lot of time with just the camera. these images feature townfolk and residences from the villages of rethymnos, chania, prassas, avdou, and iraklio.
